On Friday the 13th of April, in conjunction with the exhibition, Statistics of Hope,
601Artspace hosted a special celebration of the intersection of hope and luck, and perhaps a little fear, as it was Friday the 13th after all.
Statistics of Luck on a Hope-full Friday the 13th

601Artspace, 88 Eldridge Street
The artists, Ghost of a Dream and Jennifer Dalton, promised gambling, drugs, promises of love and happiness, clowns, tight rope walkers, orgasms, alcohol, bouncy houses, dancing, dreams answered, fortunes told, prizes in pie chart shaped food, and much much much much more! Or at least there were 50 percent of these things.
Visitors joined them to celebrate and enjoy the exhibition Statistics of Hope while gambling and eating until someone won enough prizes to trade for an original artwork from the show. The event also featured special guest Master of the Wheel of Destiny Guy Richards Smit!
