Slippage Movement Workshops
with K.J. Holmes

Join us at 601Artspace for two movement workshops with internationally acclaimed dance artist and teacher K.J. Holmes. As participants explore the artworks in our current exhibition, Slippage, Holmes will encourage new ways of seeing, challenging participants to suspend their usual way of understanding art in favor of an understanding that comes through the body's intelligence.

Slippage examines different ways in which artists articulate liminal space: personal, geographical, material, and temporal. As liminal refers to the physical or psychological state of being “in-between,” Holmes will ask participants to tune into that sense of transition within themselves through movement.

Each workshop is limited to 10 people, please RSVP to sara@601artspace.org
