The Invention of Truth - Artist’s Panel

Curator Gabriela Vainsencher will moderate a panel discussion with exhibting artists Tirtzah Bassel, Zorawar Sidhu, and Sarah Peters, exploring their individual approaches to the themes of the exhibtion. Each artist works in a medium steeped in both history and art history - painting, printmaking, and bronze casting, respectively - and each looks back into art history to digest and reinterpret our present moment. Yet each has an approach that is formally and conceptually distinct, highlighting the myriad ways artists can use history as material.
