Polish Landscape After The End, 2020, oil on canvas, 100 x 150cm.This is a futuristic landscape after the Anthropocene, when the great nature blooms - I feel great about that actually, that's the paradox. The location is a vision around my grandma's house, one of the postindustrial soc-buildings of the 50’s Cold War period. The silence, empty streets and the beautiful spring weather of a blooming April in 2020 reminds me very much of Poland after the Chernobyl Disaster in 1986. We can start again now.
