Not Yet Titled (Pendulum) is a physical paper collage, coalesced over many months. My process of sensitive observation, arrangement, cutting, and gluing fluidly unites disparate found printed images by hand, to propose new models of implausible fusion and harmony.
For me, this work initially evoked rising heat, climate change, and a tipping point from which there’s no return. But its meaning has since expanded. At the time of its completion in December 2019, we now know coronavirus “spillover” had already occurred, and that a global pandemic was tumbling toward us all.
