Silence before storm, 2018, acrylic, 8 x 19 cm.

I spend most of my days in my bedroom. This is where I do a lot of self-reflection lately and it's also my workspace so I'm surrounded by paintings and this one is making more sense to me these days. It reflects the silence of our new daily life under quarantine, a silence that is [allowing] space for people to think about problems within our society but also with our relationship with life, spirituality, people and earth.
